How Do I Choose the Right Agent?

People Shaking Hands photo We believe choosing the right insurance agent, is much more important than which insurance company you choose. The reason is simple. If you find a good, quality agent, they are going to do their best to take care of you, no matter what company they are associated with.

It is preferable to go with an insurance company that has local agents, over a company where you have to dial an 800 number for your every insurance need. Say you need to file a claim. If you have difficulties during the claim process, it's in your local agents' best interest to be your advocate. They would rather go to bat for you every way they can than lose your business. On the other hand, at 1-800-insurance, the only advocate you have is someone else at the same 800 number.
